PROGRAM OVERVIEW
With financial support from UCAP, the Association of Innovative and Digital Education (AIDE) will operate three Digital Learning Centers (DLCs) in the Odesa region, located in Odesa city, Chornomorsk, and Pivdenne. The project addresses the ongoing disruption of education caused by the war, which has displaced millions of children and limited access to safe, quality learning. Odesa, one of the largest and most affected regions in Ukraine, faces extensive damage to schools, high levels of remote learning, and widespread displacement, making the establishment of these centers both urgent and essential.
Each DLC is equipped with a certified shelter and provides a secure, inclusive, and technology-enabled space where students can continue learning, connect socially, and receive psychosocial support. Over nine months, the three centers will serve approximately 1,500 children and adolescents, combining academic catch-up programs, digital literacy, and psychosocial care to promote both learning and well-being. Using AIDE’s AI-based platforms and VR/AR technologies, students receive personalized lessons across core subjects and participate in activities that build soft skills, career awareness, creativity, and confidence in safe community spaces.
