Through a Mother’s Eyes: Tatiana

This family participated in a 6-day Recovery Camp designed to help children who face mental health challenges as a result of the war. The program provides children and their mothers with psycho-emotional rehabilitation by mental health professionals and recreational counselors. Children are engaged in play therapy, art therapy, music, games, and yoga. Over 1/3 of children who attend these camps are identified as having symptoms of PTSD and are referred to psychologists for follow-up services.

Thank you for a good rest for the children and parents. The children came from the camp very happy, with many positive impressions and emotions! The best animators, interestingly organized days, and delicious food made it possible to escape constant worries and sleepless nights. Many thanks to the administrator, Marianna, for your dedication, attitude towards children, and relaxation for mothers.” – Tatiana, Kherson, Ukraine
