Through a Mother’s Eyes: Tanya

This family participated in a 6-day Recovery Camp designed to help children who face mental health challenges as a result of the war. The program provides children and their mothers with psycho-emotional rehabilitation by mental health professionals and recreational counselors. Children are engaged in play therapy, art therapy, music, games, and yoga. Over 1/3 of children who attend these camps are identified as having symptoms of PTSD and are referred to psychologists for follow-up services.

Dear camp organizers, I want to express my sincere gratitude for what you have done for our children and us, their mothers. Your dedication, care, and professionalism created unforgettable memories for us and our children. Your work means much more to us than just organizing a camp—you create an environment where children grow, learn, and develop and, despite the circumstances, continue to believe in miracles.
We value every moment spent at camp. You are real heroes who inspire and create a positive environment for our children, even if you don’t wear shiny suits.
Thank you for your hard work and passion for what you do. May your camps always be where happy memories and new acquaintances blossom!
Vika, Marianna, Yana, Vitalik, Rostik, Khrystia, Vitya, Natalka, Oleksandra, we are truly very grateful for you!”
