Science Teacher Training

LATEST UPDATES:

UCAP will support expanded science teacher training in the summer of 2025. The program will include workshops in Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk for elementary (grades K–5) and secondary (grades 6–12) teachers, aiming to train up to 120 educators. Eight experienced instructors will lead the sessions, offering hands-on support and mentorship.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

UCAP supported the important professional development of over 100 K-12 science teachers in Lviv, Ukraine. The workshops covered modern teaching methods, curriculum development, and practical laboratory skills. This program aims to advance science education in Ukraine by equipping teachers with essential skills and knowledge, a crucial mission as Ukraine modernizes its educational system. The ongoing conflict in Ukraine heightened the significance of this work, underscoring the need to maintain and enhance the quality of education for future generations.
