LATEST UPDATES:
From February 2024 to April 2025, more than 1,300 young people benefited from a wide range of learning and development opportunities, including non-formal education courses in interpersonal communication, financial literacy, public speaking, and emotional well-being.
Beyond Lviv, UCAP-supported programs are now active in Ivano-Frankivsk and Kryvyi Rih, expanding access to mental health, educational, and social support services for at-risk youth in those regions.
Across all three cities, the programs are designed not only to address the immediate needs of youth without family support, whether orphaned, neglected, or displaced, but also to equip them with the confidence, skills, and connections to thrive and contribute meaningfully to their communities and the country’s long-term recovery.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
UCAP has funded the renovation, furnishing, and programming of a center for orphaned youth in Lviv, Ukraine. At facilities managed by our partner, RIDNI, at-risk youth are provided housing, critical services, and psychological support, empowering them to thrive and play an integral role in Ukraine’s future. The expanded center now accommodates and supports hundreds of children in the Lviv region.
