Children’s Mental Health Center

LATEST UPDATES:

Since January the new Children’s Mental Health Center in Lviv has made remarkable progress in supporting displaced children with neurodevelopmental disorders. Over this period, the center has consulted 1,273 individuals, providing a total of 2,581 consultations to meet the growing demand for specialized care.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Established in December 2023 through a collaboration with Ukraine’s National Rehabilitation Center “UNBROKEN” and St. Nicholas Hospital, the center is addressing the urgent need for mental health support among children affected by the war.

With UCAP’s funding, the center has acquired essential diagnostic testing materials, enabling specialists to deliver effective assessments and interventions. Additionally, UCAP-sponsored computer equipment has streamlined operations and facilitated telemedicine consultations, ensuring access to psychotherapy for children unable to attend in person.
