UCAP is supporting a new Children’s Mental Health Center in Lviv, established in December 2023 as part of a collaboration with Ukraine’s National Rehabilitation Center “UNBROKEN” and St. Nicholas Hospital. The center will help assess the increasing number of displaced children with neurodevelopmental disorders who arrived in Western Ukraine since the beginning of the war. UCAP funding will provide critical diagnostic testing materials for specialists to manage the growing demand effectively. UCAP will also sponsor computer equipment to streamline the center’s operations and enable telemedicine consultations with psychotherapists for children who cannot attend in-person appointments.
