Energy Resilience Kits for Preschools

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

In March 2026, UCAP funded Energy Resilience Kits for a public preschool in the Hlevakha community in Ukraine’s Kyiv region. Serving approximately 120 children across six classrooms, the school has been significantly affected by frequent power outages caused by ongoing attacks on Ukraine’s infrastructure.

Implemented in partnership with the Ukrainian organization SpivDiia, the project equipped classrooms with portable power stations and related components, creating energy-independent learning environments. These kits provide continuous light, support daily learning activities, and help maintain a safe, calm environment for children during disruptions.
