PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Kids of Ukraine initiative, supported by the Ukraine Children’s Action Project, provides critical psychosocial support to teenagers affected by war and displacement. Through a mix of in-person and online programming, the initiative creates safe, structured spaces where young people can rebuild emotional stability, develop confidence, and strengthen social connections.
Over a sustained period of participation, the program has demonstrated clear improvements in emotional well-being, reduced anxiety and stress, and significantly increased self-confidence. It also fosters stronger communication skills, a sense of belonging, and meaningful peer relationships—key factors in helping youth adapt to new environments and recover from trauma.
By combining psychological support, creative activities, and community-building, Kids of Ukraine empowers adolescents to rediscover their strengths, engage with others, and envision a more hopeful future despite ongoing challenges.
