UCAP Attends Ukraine Recovery Conference with Global Leaders

UCAP co-founders Karen and Irwin Redlener recently attended the international Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome, held on July 10-11, where over 5,000 attendees representing 70+ national delegations, 40 international organizations, and multiple businesses gathered to support Ukraine’s long-term recovery. With powerful addresses by President Zelenskyy, First Lady Olena Zelenska, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and other world leaders, the conference emphasized the need for strengthened financial and strategic support for Ukraine and its admission to the European Union. UCAP participated in sessions discussing the “Human Capital Dimension” of recovery, including mental health support, education, and the importance of Ukrainians returning to the country, critical areas that align with UCAP’s mission. Notably, leaders acknowledged Ukraine’s impressive wartime innovation and entrepreneurial accomplishments, all of which will serve them well in recovery. The conference was an inspiring reminder that Ukraine’s recovery is prioritizing its children’s well-being, and UCAP remains committed to helping meet their needs.
