PROGRAM OVERVIEW
UCAP funded a survey of Ukrainian youth ages 18–23, carried out in collaboration with the MRIYDIY Education Cluster, to better understand how young people are thinking about returning to Ukraine after the war. The project explores what motivates them, what concerns they have, and how their time abroad is shaping their sense of identity and opportunity.
In December 2025, Irwin presented the survey findings at the Ministry of Education’s Annual Snapshot Meeting, a gathering of development partners supporting Ukraine’s education sector through the Extended Education Sector Working Group:
